There's been quite a bit happening in the world of Vendetta. I know we're not all the way through August yet, but here, have a July/August update.
I had the pleasure of cutting my Mum's hair. Thanks Mum, I've been waiting a long time to have permission to cut her locks. ;)
As you'll see below, I attended FEAST for Humanity, with my lovely friends:
- Mel Boulden Photography
- Rene, of Blush & Mint Photography, and The Vintage Bride Boutique, and
- Amy, of Bella in Bloom.
It was a fun evening, held at Unley Town Hall, with delicious desserts, dancing and bidding on silent auction items!
Below, you'll see a stunning image of my previous Bride, Sharmin, by Dave Leane (Photography by David). This gal is all kinds of amazing, and it was an absolute honour to be invited to style her hair and makeup for this pregnancy shoot, in Murray Bridge. Probably the only person that I'll be up before 8am on a Sunday morning for, with a smile. ;)
As well as Feasting for humanity, cutting my Mum's hair and doing pregnancy shoots, I've been styling for Mel's Gatsby themed Hen's night, I've been giving Lauren a fresh feminine undercut (SAH MUCH HAIR!), and I'm super proud to say that I did my first EVER straight razor, neck shave (with hot towel!), on my good friend James. We worked out that I've cut his hair over 20 times over the last year (or so), I'm really glad that I'm still available to cut his 'do even though I'm not at Clip Joint anymore. I can't thank him enough for trusting in my abilities, as he's followed me through trade school, to now being a pro!
See you again soon, for the next instalment. Hopefully by this time next blog, I'll be able to tell you some other mind-blowing news that I've been working on.
Makeup pre-orders coming SOON!
